GOALS FOR FUTURE (from the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan)
- Document as far as possible the needs of people with disabilities, in particular in developmental age, to make it possible to know the socio-rehabilitation demand of people with disabilities residing in Juba and deepen the main disabling diseases in the various contexts (see Usratuna Commitment and Services CBID).
- Continue in the training and permanent updating of socio-health and educational workers employed in services in favor of frail people and people with disabilities, especially in developmental age.
- Stimulate in different ways the legal recognition of the discipline of rehabilitation and of the professional figure of the physiotherapist and the operator of inclusive development on a community base (CBID) by the Government of South Sudan (see St. Mary's College Commitment).
- Enhance the contribution of inclusive community-based development (CBID) to promote the establishment of a network of socio-rehabilitative services that can constitute a technical-health reference point for the identification, rehabilitation and prevention of age-disabling diseases evolutionary (see St. Mary's College Commitment and SiBC Commitment).
- Strengthen diagnostic and therapeutic services in some specific areas in Juba County (see Usratuna Commitment and Maternal and Child Health Commitment).
