The world of cooperation implies the desire to engage in dialogue with the people whose human development we want to promote, knowing that:

• neither party alone can produce significant results, but that, working together, you get something more than the simple sum of their respective skills
• coming from a richer country is not the trump card to magically solve all the world's problems
• other communities have fewer economic resources, but retain cultural and human riches often forgotten in a rich country

It is not always possible to translate this "will" for cooperation into "ability": vigilant attention is needed to grasp all the positive aspects of dialogue, not to fall into the stereotypes that everyone has towards those who are different, not to look at the world only from your unique window.

This wants to be the starting point of OVCI for the training of volunteers to be included in its projects, with the aim of moving from "I want to do" to "I am committed to doing well", going beyond me.

Deciding to be deployed with OVCI presupposes in a certain sense trusting the Organism, sharing its mission and style!
